How to Make the Perfect Smoothie Bowl

Smoothie bowls are one of my favourite things to make. This is because there are so many different ways to make it. I thought I would share how I have been making my smoothie bowls lately.



First, I put all of my ingredients in the blender to make the smoothie. For this particular smoothie bowl, I used:
  • 10 frozen cherries
  • 1/4 cup blueberries
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup spinach
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1/4 cup ice cubes


After blending all of the ingredients I poured the smoothie into two bowls because this recipe makes enough for two people.  Once that is done, take a spoon and flatten the top surface. Now it's time for my favourite part which is decorating the top of the smoothie. To decorate this smoothie I used:
  • Granola
  • Chia Seeds
  • Hemp Seeds
  • Cherries


If you think about it, smoothie bowls are basically a healthy version of having ice cream and in my opinion, they are just as delicious.
