First, I put all of my ingredients in the blender to make the smoothie. For this particular smoothie bowl, I used:
- 10 frozen cherries
- 1/4 cup blueberries
- 1 banana
- 1/2 cup spinach
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1/4 cup ice cubes
After blending all of the ingredients I poured the smoothie into two bowls because this recipe makes enough for two people. Once that is done, take a spoon and flatten the top surface. Now it's time for my favourite part which is decorating the top of the smoothie. To decorate this smoothie I used:
- Granola
- Chia Seeds
- Hemp Seeds
- Cherries
If you think about it, smoothie bowls are basically a healthy version of having ice cream and in my opinion, they are just as delicious.
