I recently came back from a road trip to Indiana with my siblings. So, I thought I would share exactly what we did this past weekend.
On Thursday, we left our house around 7:30am so we would arrive to Indiana in the late afternoon. Not much happened on the way there except for 4 pit stops. If you ever have to do pit stops in Canada, I recommend the "en route" areas because they have the cleanest washrooms! Once we arrived at 4:00pm, we hung out with our family that lives there and talked for a bit. Next, we went to a nearby park to play basketball and do something active since we had been sitting in the car for most of the day. When we got back, we had dinner and jumped into the lake (literally). It was freezing cold so we only lasted about 15 minutes. The rest of the night was mostly just playing with my cousins and catching up with them.
On Friday, my siblings and I went with my aunt to LA Fitness for our workout. We did a killer cycle class and I absolutely loved it. After the gym, we got ready, had lunch and then did some shopping. While we were out and about, I got an acai bowl from Raw Juice Cold Pressed Juicery and it was delicious! Once we were done, we just hung out and played with our cousins. Later, we had dinner and watched Deadpool (really funny movie, by the way).
On Saturday morning, we did a Zumba class at LA Fitness! It was so much fun. I honestly couldn't keep a straight face because I thought the dance moves were so funny. After Zumba, we had breakfast and went boating! The boat ride mostly consisted of me playing "I Spy" with my little cousins. When we got back we had a BBQ lunch! There is nothing better then a sunny day and a good ole BBQ. After lunch, we went to a hill for a quick little hike and then played basketball again. We then went back to my aunt's house for dinner, and just hung out for rest of the evening.
On Sunday, we had breakfast, packed the car and headed back to Canada!
